„Practical contacts and vocational orientation in Europe’s neighboring regions“ is the subject of a conference on 5 June, 10:00 to 15:30, in the NWZ Pressehaus Oldenburg, to which the Institute for Economic Education (IÖB) invites as coordinator of the EU project IMPULS. IMPULS stands for cross-border „implementation of practice contacts in companies for teachers and students“. About 100 teachers, company representatives, educational advisers and other interested people who would like to exchange information about cross-border school-economy activities in Germany, the Netherlands and Poland are expected to attend the open conference. The event aims to show how students can gain a job-oriented view of their European neighbor. On the one hand, the educational policy framework conditions for school implementation are discussed and on the other best practice examples from the IMPULS project are presented. It speaks u. a. Prof. Dr. Peter J. Weber, Rector of SRH Hochschule Calw, on the added value of regional multilingualism and interculturality of companies. Meike Richter, J. Bünting Beteiligungs AG, reports on German-Dutch training perspectives and students themselves present their cross-border practice experience in companies and schools.
